  | 2024 YAMI Wearable Art Designer of the Year: Kelli Franks - Tie-Dye Wedding Gown Kelli was hanging out with friends talking about tie-dying someT-shirts when the discussion turned to, What is the most unusual thing you can tie-dye? A wedding gown! She drew inspiration from the flower children of the 70's and musical groups like Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. In addition, Kelli added over 500 multicolored rhinestonecrystals and 35 flowers. The veil was handpainted with dye. This year, the Designer of the Year will also be crowned!Enter this fun optional event for your chance to be creative and win! 2024 YAMI Overall Model of the Year: Mindy Lee Mindy! She has truly inspired those around her in the community, fellow sister queens, and pageant staff.
