"Being crowned your Young American Miss International Queen of the Decade is something I’m so proud of. It represents years of dedication, growth, and a journey that began long before I ever understood the impact pageants would have on my life. When my mom first put me in pageants at just one year old, I had no idea the doors it would open or the life skills it would shape within me. What started as something so simple, quickly became a journey that would build my confidence, teach me discipline, and help me grow into the person I am today. Through pageants, I’ve gained so much more than crowns and titles. I’ve learned how to carry myself with grace, how to set goals, and how to uplift others along the way. But most importantly, I’ve found friendships that have turned into lifelong bonds—connections that mean more to me than anything on stage. Being a part of Young American Miss International and Young Miss International has truly shown me what it means to be part of a family. The love, support, and encouragement within this system is something so special and rare. It’s not just about competition—it’s about community, growth, and empowering one another. I am also incredibly honored to now give back in a full-circle way. Through the pageant that my mom and I direct, Miss Jasper County, I have the opportunity to send past queens on to compete at Young American Miss International. Watching them step onto that stage and chase their dreams is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Pageants have also led me to discover my passion for the beauty industry. Because of this journey, I now get to help girls and women feel confident and beautiful every single day by enhancing their natural beauty. That passion has become a huge part of who I am. Alongside this, my platform, Kinley Kares, has given me the opportunity to pour back into my community by supporting underprivileged children. Being able to use my title for something bigger than myself is something I will always cherish. I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of something that has given me so much.
